Botkier Revisited
As promised here is part two from Botkier starting with the “Rivington” collection, with its draw string top and soft lambskin body allows you plenty of carrying options with the versatile and variable double adjusters.
Black lambskin, natural snake calfskin, nickel and this one pictured above is in saffron lambskin. The Rivington collection comes as small priced at £190 or large at £238.
Next in the Botkier range is the “Bowie” with its distinctive pyramidal leather stapping with decorative D-rings giving added support to the body of the bag. This Hobo comes in two colours, black or gold as seen below at £180.
” Bowie” also comes as a satchel, but you are restricted in colour choice with only the camel colo4r, made from cowhide. With an asking price of £238 , would this get into your wardrobe? Tell us what you think of the “Bowie”on our Voulue Facebook page.
For those of you who prefer the crossbody style there is the “Brooklyn” a little less costly at £158.00, but crossbody bags are not my favourite type, I find them a little uncomfortable so this “cement” coloured bag wouldnt be for me.Though I like the design of the threaded leather working its way through the slouchy soft material of the body.
Finally I chose the Venice satchel (£240) with the strong horizontal zips and vertical pulls, they give this bag a stregnth of character that I like, and this blue appeals to me, giving me a sense of freedom and rather less urban than the cement colours Botkier offers.
